Parking Block Installation & Replacement in Southeast Michigan

Concrete parking blocks and wheel stops installed and replaced for commercial lots — laid out to the stall plan, anchored to the surface, and quoted from your scope, photos or drawings.

Cieslak Concrete Construction installs and replaces concrete parking blocks (wheel stops) for commercial parking lots across Southeast Michigan — layout, anchoring on asphalt or concrete, and removal and disposal of broken blocks. Parking block work is quoted individually based on the number of blocks, the surface they are anchored to and whether removal of existing blocks is part of the scope.

Parking blocks keep vehicles off sidewalks, landscaping, fences and building faces — and when they are missing, broken or sliding out of position, the lot stops working the way it was laid out. Replacing them is a small scope, but it is one property managers and facility maintenance companies need handled correctly and on a schedule.

Installation is straightforward work done carefully: blocks laid out to the stall dimensions, positioned so vehicles stop where the designer intended, and anchored to the surface — pinned into asphalt or anchored into concrete — so they stay put through plowing season and freeze-thaw cycles.

We handle parking block scopes for property owners, property managers, facility maintenance companies and general contractors — from replacing a handful of broken stops to furnishing and installing blocks across a full lot, often alongside other concrete work like sidewalk, curb or bollard scopes.

Parking block scopes we handle

Replacing broken or missing blocks

Cracked, spalled and displaced blocks are removed and hauled away, and new blocks are set and anchored in their place — the most common scope we get from property managers.

Full-lot installation

New blocks across an entire lot, laid out to the striping plan and anchored consistently, so every stall stops vehicles at the same line.

Anchored to the surface you have

Blocks on asphalt are pinned; blocks on concrete are anchored with the appropriate fasteners. The anchoring method follows the surface, which is why we ask about the lot when pricing.

Combined with other concrete work

Parking blocks are frequently one line item in a larger scope — sidewalk panels, curb repair, bollards or a dumpster pad. Combining them into one visit keeps mobilization costs down.

Common questions

How much does parking block installation cost?
Parking block installation is quoted per project rather than at a published per-block price. The cost depends on the number of blocks, whether we are supplying them or installing blocks you provide, the surface they anchor to, and whether broken blocks need to be removed and disposed of first. Send the block count, photos of the lot or a scope of work and we will price it accurately.
How are concrete parking blocks installed?
Blocks are laid out to the stall layout, set in position, and anchored to the surface — steel pins driven into asphalt, or concrete anchors where the lot is concrete. Correct anchoring is what keeps blocks from shifting under bumper contact and snowplows.
Can you remove our old broken parking blocks?
Yes. Removal and disposal of broken or unwanted blocks is a normal part of the scope, and the area is left clean when the new blocks are in.
Do you supply the parking blocks or install ones we bought?
Either. Scopes can include supplying and installing the blocks, or installation only where you or your general contractor is supplying them. Both are quoted from the same information — quantity, surface and site conditions.
